Man Down is my third single of 201 7. It's the
song that's most vulnerable to me and shows a
more real side of the relationship process of
today's age.

Yes. One of my relationships actually inspired
me to write this song. The song is basically
about betrayal. "I loved once, you loved twice."
Never feeling like I was the only one or the last
one. And we were holding on and reconnecting
so temporarily that it became a twisted routine.
That's where I wrote, "I'll hold you in my arms
tonight cause we'll get lost in debris of
tomorrows fight." I got tired of being in the front
lines and having everything be a battle, so i
wrote a song and titled it Man Down.

Well I have always loved Broadway but my first
love was always just that deep soul and gospel
music. Aretha Franklin and Jennifer Holiday
being my top favorites. I went through a lot of
the genre's of music experimenting. I trained
classically, tried jazz, sang pop, sang
electronic, went through a country phase, did
the broadway, did the gospel and r&b, and I
feel like I've taken all of those influences and
am slowly unraveling each influence into the
new music for the rest of the year.
