Martin: “By The Way” is not only our
first release but also the first song
we composed and recorded
together. It is a mix of different
worlds, a first collaboration between
contrasting music backgrounds and
the beginning of our band. The song
intends to send a positive message
with upbeat music.

Andy: I wouldn’t say a particular
event inspired this song. This was
the first time we ever got together
and made music. We were inspired
by each other’s contributions.

Martin: Chicago plays an important
role in our music writing. Although
we are not Chicago natives we both
have been living in this great city for
years and consider it our adopted
town. The city’s diversity and
multicultural aspects influence our
lives and therefore our writing.
Andy: The history of Chicago house
music has also been a huge impact
in our writing. The city has some
great music venues and we are
fortune to have such amazing talent
come through the city.

from the 80’s. So much great synth
