Martin: “By The Way” is not only our first release but also the first song we composed and recorded together. This was the first time we ever got together and made music. We were inspired by each other’s contributions. W h a t r o l e d o e s C h i c a g o p l a y s i n y o u r w r i t i n g ? Martin: Chicago plays an important role in our music writing. Although we are not Chicago natives we both have been living in this great city for years and consider it our adopted town. The city’s diversity and multicultural aspects influence our lives and therefore our writing. Andy: The history of Chicago house music has also been a huge impact in our writing. The city has some great music venues and we are fortune to have such amazing talent come through the city.
