Decorative “ clavos ” or door nails can be mounted on the face of a door to give it a rustic or antique look . They can be mounted on the interior or exterior or both sides of a door *, and they may be used with or without the door straps shown at right . Because these are hand-cast and handmade , they will vary slightly in appearance .
