Modern and Sleek PLUGLESS ALUMINUM FRAMES
GlassCraft ’ s new aluminum door lite frames use an aluminum exterior and interior frame with a polymer internal support structure to provide a sleek and modern appearance along with a thermally-broken design to provide the maximum energy efficiency . No unsightly screws – this product provides a “ plugless ” frame design .
These frames are almost flush with the surface of the door , and measure 1-1 / 2 ” in width . This unique frame system allows for the replacement of your door glass should it be damaged or broken . Plus they are impervious to moisture , and resist damage due to rot and mildew .

GlassCraft ’ s patented MetroFrame™ fiberglass door lite frames are produced using an industry-leading highcompression fiberglass reinforced frame for superior strength and stability . These frames feature a sleek shape that projects out less than 1 / 4 ” from the surface of the door , and measures 1-3 / 8 ” in width . The frames do not use external fasteners that require frame plugs to hide the screws , but rather incorporate a multi-patented clip system that does not require external screws or plugs . This unique frame system allows for the replacement of your door glass should it be damaged or broken . No need to replace the entire door as with other “ plugless ” frame systems . Plus they are impervious to moisture , and resist damage due to rot and mildew . Strong and secure !
Patented design of the fiberglass reinforced glass insert frame creates a strong and moisture-proof barrier . Most doors in this catalog use this fiberglass frame .

GlassCraft ’ s ClassicFrame™ Windstorm and Impact door lite frames use an extruded solid WPC wood-polymercomposite material and are solid ( not hollow ) for super strength . These frames do not use external fasteners that require frame plugs to hide the screws , but instead use a patented clip system that does not require external screws or frame plugs . Impervious to moisture , and resist damage due to rot and mildew . Strong and secure , these frames are tested and approved for our Impact-Rated doors and entryways . They are used in all Arch Lite Double and Arch Top double doors in this catalog .
These frames are used when Windstorm and / or Impact doors are required , and in all “ Arch Top Double ” door entryways , as are found on pages 37 , 62-63 , and 74-75 .
