Kids Kids Banana-Berry Shake Oats are a great addition to any fruit smoothie or shake. They add gentle fiber and sweetness, and a good amount of nutrients such as protein, B-vitamins, iron, magnesium, calcium, and potassium. This shake is a tasty, fast breakfast choice, especially for kids who don’t like to sit down and eat before school. Letting kids turn on the blender can be real fun for them, and they can easily add the fruit to the blender jar. Makes 1 large or 2 smaller shakes 1/2 cup rolled oats 1 cup rice, coconut, oat, or almond milk 1 frozen banana 1/2 tablespoon honey, or to taste 1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries or other mixed berries 1. Soak rolled oats in choice of milk for at least 20 minutes to 1 hour. Add to jar of high speed blender, along with banana, honey, and strawberries or other mixed berries.
