Space Shuttle Astronaut
U.S. Air Force
As a young man growing up in Washington, D.C., I was taught that
if you dreamed big and worked hard, anything was possible.
So that is what I did. After graduating from the Air Force Academy,
I became a pilot in the Air Force and was later selected to become
a space shuttle astronaut. On my first mission to the Space Station,
I was looking down at this incredible planet of ours and could see that
it was true. Anything really is possible.
