MORE MEMORIES OF PAT Pat with his dedication to his fellow vets, revitalized the struggling NYC parade. Pat, we salute you, we miss you , we thank you, we will always remember you - Bill Nelson Pat was a true titan from our vet community. Pat Gualtieri was a NYC warrior, legend, mentor Paul Rieckhoff I never considered myself a veteran till I met Pat. I will always miss him. I know he is up there looking down on us as we prepare for this year’s parade. We will do it right, Pat! - Jeff Swansen The first time I met Pat I told I him I was a veteran, and he was so excited to have me working for the 2014 season of America’s Parade. He not only revitalized the NYC Veteran’s Day Parade but gave inspiration to all - Jean Papazian Pat was an American hero and will never be forgotten. He stood for all that was right in this great country. He was there for “Be a hero-Hire a Hero” like no other partner, he was a man of his word. - Jeff Klare Pats gentle nature was a refreshing change in these times of ours. My only regret was I wasn’t able to spend more time with him. Love u Pat! Hope all your brothers in heaven welcomed you like u did for us! - Robert Sweeney He kept us focused on the goal of making sure that the Veterans knew that we remembered them, that we never forget why we are honoring their sacrifice. He was truly larger than life - Ann Marie Colletti Pat had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I have ever met. He would call Christmas Eve and say ‘’I love you buddy, thanks for all you do for our Veterans’’. We all loved you too Pat. - Philip Forchelli My father Al was Pat’s friend and always described him as an exceptional person. Pat and other members of UWVC made up a beautiful video of my father and helped ease our pain when we lost him. I will always be honored by the tribute that he gave my father. - Janice Maher I will miss those text messages with happy notes and well wishes on every holiday. You always put a smile on my face and I always shared these happy notes with my daughter and she always said what a sweet man. - Griselda Garcia Pat was always very encouraging and uplifting! He even once called me when I was away on duty just to check on me. I couldn’t believe with all he had on his plate he would remember a little private like me. I’ll remember him always!!! - Sgt. Volunteering at the UWVC office helped me to stand on my own two feet again - nothing will keep me away this year!!! Pat you are always in my thoughts.
