Varsity College has a strong vocational focus that prepares students for
their future jobs and careers. The Varsity College Career Centre is a unique
initiative, focused on helping students to build the foundations for future
success. The Career Centre makes strategic use of the strong relationships
we have forged with small and medium businesses and large corporates,
providing students with opportunities for possible work experience and
graduate placements.
As well as facilitating career opportunities, the Career Centre guides
students on important processes and work related skills development.
Working with the Career Centre is a great opportunity for you to get a
head start in terms of employability.
First Step:
First things first: Register on the Career Centre website. This is the first
step in starting your career. Our website lists part-time and full-time
work opportunities, supporting documentation on CV and cover letter
compilation, information on general interests in the form of blogs, podcasts
and web links. Our website allows you to read success stories of other
students and Alumni within the Alumni section, graduate opportunities
and upcoming events arranged by the Career Centre.
