Here’s what Sherif Mohamed, a member of Varnex U.S. and Canada, had to say about the benefits of Varnex and how the power of partnership helped his business grow. Can you share a brief overview of your company? My company is Digital Shopper, a global business with operations in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Our focus is on computing and technology products, but we offer hundreds of thousands of products across many categories. We’ve also developed a B2B MSP side of the business through our site CardMachineOutlet.com which offers payment processing solutions. How has Varnex helped grow your business? This is my third year with the community, and I’ve enjoyed tremendous success so far. I’m both a U.S. Varnex member and a Canada Varnex member, and I go to events for each group. For me, it’s all about networking and partnerships. Being part of Varnex gives me access to many different vendors, SYNNEX executives, and other resellers, and this access has been truly priceless. Specifically, I’ve been able to secure special deals with brands like Black Box and Cyberpower thanks to the relationships I built through Varnex. I’ve also formed partnerships with other members that led to deals in different niches and industries. What Varnex benefits do you find particularly useful? NAME: Sherif Mohamed POSITION: CEO COMPANY: Digital Shopper There are so many, but the financing benefits have been especially helpful. We get 45-day net terms with Varnex, and we’ve been able to work with leaders in the SYNNEX credit department. This has brought positive visibility to our account and helped unlock credit, a huge benefit for us. I also leverage the FedEx discount and enjoy substantial savings. Advice for fellow members hoping to get the most from the community? I’d say engage the community and the Varnex team. Attend events like conferences, regionals, and Varnex University! The in-person factor can significantly increase productivity and value. Also, be sure to familiarize yourself with the many different benefits. Random fact that few people know about your business? My partner and I started Digital Shopper in a one-bedroom apartment, and half of that served as our storage facility. Today, we’re a global business with 35 employees and operations in three different countries. Needless to say, the storage area is much larger now.
