REVIEWS PASSION This e-liquid has a sweet fruity scent with a hint of alcohol. It smells just like a fruit cocktail. On the inhale the vape gives a light fruity taste that comes with a smooth hit. The exhale develops a very tasty passionfruit taste. It develops an alcohol- like edge which pushes this to taste just like a porn star martini. The flavour also develops a very light cooling which just adds that special touch. The aftertaste has more of a liquorice taste which personally I am not keen on but I know many that would love it. FEAR Fear smells absolutely great. It has a mixed scent of grapefruit and lime. On the inhale a sweet lime essence touches the tongue with a sweet throat hit that has a slight cooling agent in it. The exhale begins with the light coolant undertone helping a sweet grapefruit ascend. This then takes a citrus turn and a lime flavour takes the limelight (excuse the pun). This flavour rollercoaster is assisted by a light absinth undertone. This is a really different vape and I would advise all to give it a try. LOVE This e-liquid has a light raspberry scent with a clear minty undertone. On the inhale the vape produces a cold menthol and smooth hit. The cloud production on the mixed range is incredible. The raspberry flavour is the first to come through. It’s a rich flavour and carries a light undertone of mint leaves. This literally gives the experience of a mojito cocktail. The exhale leave a sweet note on the tongue and a cold sensation in the throat. This is a very impressive vape and one perfect for the adventurous vaper. SWEDISH BATCH Based on the classic red gummy fish confectionary, Swedish is a simple but nostalgic e-liquid from Candy King. The top note here is a warm, sweet raspberry. It’s not a natural portrayal, but this is to be expected from any accurate candy profile. This is supported by a gummy candy note that seems to be a very subtle medley of fruits. These accents are too subdued to pick out individually, but it’s clear that there is more than just raspberry here. The gummy candy note also imparts an interesting sticky mouthfeel, which is very true to life. If you’re looking for a simple candy vape, Swedish is a good option. Described as an orange, cherry, lemon and lime gummy, Batch is a slightly more ambitious e-liquid from Candy King. By far the most dominant element of the mix is a candied citrus blend. A sour punch of lemon and lime are most prominent and this is followed closely by a bright orange accent. I’m not quite picking up on the cherry, which could be a result of the bold citrus top notes, but this isn’t problematic, since the mix is so bright already. The profile is rounded out with a gummy candy base and it’s an accurate representation of its real-life counterpart. There’s also a pleasant sour note on the exhale, which only adds to the authenticity of this e-liquid. Citrus fans should consider giving this one a try. STRAWBERRY WATERMELON BUBBLEGUM 200 | VM18 JUICE REVIEWS BY BENEDICT ‘NED’ JONES Fruit bubblegum e-liquids have been popular since the inception of the modern vaping scene, and they can be a difficult balancing act when trying to avoid an overly-artificial profile. Candied watermelon is the most prominent note here. For me, it’s a little bit overpowering, though I’m sure watermelon fans will rejoice at this. The watermelon is supported by a light candied strawberry. This is classic pairing for a reason, and the two complement each other nicely. The profile is rounded out with a mild bubblegum base. It doesn’t outstay its welcome, instead serving as an accent that adds a little intrigue to the profile. Overall, this is a good take on a classic profile and fans of intense candy watermelon will likely enjoy it a lot.
