Vaping is Personal, Bideford, May 27 Husband and wife Steve and Coleen Ellis, from Barnstaple have both been smoking around 40 cigarettes a day for the last 38 years. They both decided to take up vaping about a year ago and are now enjoying improved health and lifestyles. In fact, they love vaping so much they have created a special page on Facebook to allow local vapers to chat online. Coleen said: “I suffer from asthma, but I don’t need to use my inhaler anymore and I can walk without getting the shortness of breath I got when I was a smoker. “I loved seeing the Vapouround Bus here today. There is nothing else like it and it is more like a mobile expo with more to offer than some shops.” Vape HQ, Newquay, May 26 The people of Newquay were really receptive to the bus and we met some inspirational people here. Take Alan Nichols, 70, for example. He told us how vaping literally saved his life. He had been a regular smoker for 45 years and switched to vaping four years ago following the death of his wife. Alan said, “I remember that my doctor actually hugged me when I told him I had quit smoking for vaping.” Vape HQ shop manager Dan said: “This has been our best day of the year! At one stage there was literally no space to stand in the shop. We are so happy to have had the Vapouround Bus here. After seeing how well today has gone, having the Vapouorund Bus down again is something I would most certainly consider.” VM18 | 161
