Titano is described as a classic apple pie profi le. This is a staple of
dessert e-liquids, so how does it hold up? The top note here is a sweet
baked apple. It’s mildly tart as you would expect, but also brings a
slight juiciness to the blend, along with a good balance of sweetness.
This is complemented by a light bakery cinnamon, which has been
placed nicely in the mix so that it adds a little spice without becoming
dry or overbearing. The profi le is fi nished with a moderate pastry
layer, which adds some substance to the profi le but does not weigh it
down at all. A very nicely balanced apple pie. A blueberry pancake blend. Where so many blueberry e-liquids
struggle to moderate the strong floral notes, this one does not.
Blueberry is certainly the dominant flavour here but it comes across
as a sweet blueberry jam rather than the fresh fruit. This pairs nicely
with the light maple syrup flavour that accompanies it and gives the
profi le an extra kick of sugary sweetness. The blend is fi nished with
a mild bakery layer and though I wouldn’t necessarily identify it as
pancake, it certainly fi ts the bill. A lighter take on the pancake profi le.

Rampage is King Kong Vape Juice’s take on smores, traditionally a
blend of toasted marshmallow, chocolate and biscuit. The dominant
note here is a lightly toasted marshmallow. It’s thick, sweet and has
a true-to-life fluffy texture. There’s a mild vanilla in the background
too but it doesn’t transform the marshmallow into a vanilla cream,
as can often be the case. This is supported by a light bakery layer,
reminiscent of graham cracker and this lends some grainy texture
and dark sweetness to the brighter marshmallow. I do not detect any
chocolate here but I’m not sure it’s necessary since this is a simple
but moreish dessert profi le as is. A blend of cola, vanilla ice cream and mint. Cola profi les are quite
common but it’s rare to see a cola float attempted. I’m happy to
report that King Kong Vape Juice have nailed it. Cola is the dominant
flavour but it’s not a heavy or sticky as you might expect from a more
traditional cola gummy-style blend. This is joined by a moderate
vanilla cream layer that adds volume to the profi le and complements
the cola top note perfectly, which shouldn’t come as much of a
surprise. The blend is fi nished off with a mild minty coolant, which
keeps things fresh and doesn’t distract from the sweeter elements at
all. One of the best cola-based profi les I’ve tried.

A key lime pie profi le. Normally with this kind of blend I would expect
lime to really dominate things but in this case the pastry notes come
out on top. The pastry here is rich and buttery without becoming overly
sweet, which is quite the accomplishment. This is complemented by
a moderate cream note, which adds volume to the profi le. The lime is
very much present among the flavours but isn’t the main feature and
I actually quite like how this has been done. It works to add intrigue
to the pastry and cream layers, without overstaying it’s welcome. A
different take on key lime pie.
