It’s also vitally important that manufacturers and consumers are
aware of the importance of mathematical accuracy. Vapers can’t just
use any old CBD e-liquid for any ailment and expect it to work, which is
why people can come away disappointed if they don’t do their research.
Oliver explained: “If an individual buys 1,000mg tongue drops
and they know that they need five drops, as long as that product
maintains consistency and mathematical accuracy, they can always
go back to that product.
“It’s really important because in order to innovate and be smart the
patient needs to educate themselves. They will only know if that’s what
they need if they maintain the regular supply to it.”
The ever-growing vape market has given rise to some huge and
lasting innovations, such as nicotine salts. But we have also seen our
fair share of gimmicks. Oliver argued that it’s not enough to innovate
for innovation’s sake. Instead we should be developing new products
that serve a purpose. “It’s only worth innovating if people want to be
innovated for and it’s only worth creating a product if they’re going
to follow it and they’re not going to follow it if it’s not going to work.”
