Travelling by train any time soon ? Then don ’ t even think about vaping ( and it is the same story on planes and at airports .) There is no heartbreak like missing your train and watching it go … And there is nothing more annoying than waiting around for a delayed train . We wait and wait and wait until boredom and impatience kicks in . That is the train travel life for you … unpredictable ! They say life is a journey , enjoy the ride , but how can you when you are flustered , angry and anxious . Its moments like these , where you just want to take out your vaping gear and puff away endlessly to calm your mood levels down . But life is never that easy , when you read notices which say : ‘ Vaping is prohibited .’ That is your cue to keep your e-cigs right where you placed them . As the traditional proverb goes : ‘ there is no smoke without fire ’ - well now you can expect to interpret it literally as it seems the entire train industry has decided to

A spokesperson from The Metropolitan Transportation Authority reported : “ We would interpret our prohibition on smoking as applying to electronic cigarettes .” Therefore : “ Vaping is prohibited in our trains , buses and stations .” It is little wonder the general public is confused .
