T
he ironic aspect of this is that
human beings essentially
invite and embrace these
risks, people don’t refuse the
proven evidence that cigarettes
and many other tobacco products will
undoubtedly become the reason for
your own death. So, people continue
smoking. We, as humans, smoke not
because it COULD kill us, yet people
fully comprehend that smoking WILL
indulge in this act. I would know, I was a
smoker for 15 stinky years of bad breath
and a decline of endurance, logic and
hope. There is nothing absolute when
living among others within an existence
where there is an overall consensus
about how we are literally trying to be
successful, productive members of a
socially constructed version of reality.
This reality is tainted with poisonous
products enticing our participation.
Simultaneously, we are living in a world
where our understanding and knowing
of where, when, how a nd what will make
up the totality of our own deaths and
departures from this physical world we
all occupy along with the societies we
create are completely unbeknownst
to us.
We know that the only thing that is
absolutely certain in life is the often
naturally feared, though in some cases
more so an accepted exception, fearless
the overall concept of death - the only
certainty we are all aware of is that we

will all eventually cease to exist on earth.
That is per say, to suggest some people
my fully understand they will one day
cease to exist and are entirely accepting
of that fact.
While, by the same token, perhaps
on the other hand, many surely
desire nothing more than to live for
eternity, thus they may not understand
the impossibility of escaping death
throughout their time here on earth. I
must admit, it does seem outrageous to
suggest there are some individuals living
on this planet we all share who literally
don’t comprehend the unavoidability of
their own mortality, then again, this world
we share is often times outrageous
in itself.
This is a planet we all share, but of
course the idea of sharing is only taken
so far, to a certain extent. Sharing is
caring - right? Well, that’s what I’ve
heard millions of times - and of course
everyone comprehends that if you share,
then you most likely indeed also care yet who we choose to share with
