A witness for the Depp vs Heard defamation trial has become a social media star after footage of him vaping and driving during his testimony went viral .

The Amber Heard and Johnny Depp defamation trail has gripped the world , with millions of people tuning in for a taste of the courtroom celebrity gossip .
From the cast of unique witnesses to the highly scrutinised approach of Heard ’ s legal team , there have been plenty of moments that have left viewers stunned and speechless .
But nothing quite compares to the bizarre testimony of Alejandro Romero , who was seen driving around and vaping as he gave his account of the feuding couple ’ s past relationship .
In the pre-recorded deposition , Romero – who works at the building where Heard and Depp once lived together – appeared irritated and bored , eventually saying ‘ I just don ’ t want to deal with this anymore .’
At one point , he released a cloud of vapour right in front of the camera – which was fixed to the dash of his car – and even drove around whilst answering questions .
During his testimony , Romero detailed an incident where Amber Heard and a friend asked him to look for a potential intruder after seeing marks on the bottom of their door … only for him to conclude that the mystery criminal was a dog .
He said : “ They were so scared and asked me to go inside and check room by room .
“ I did it but , in my head I was thinking , ‘ you think someone is trying to get in with scratches four inches above the floor ?’… that was the dog trying to get in .”
The footage sparked laughter across the courtroom , with Romero ’ s comical testimony and casual vaping sending even Depp into a quiet fit of giggles .
After the video cut out , Judge Penney Azcarate removed her glasses , seemingly sighed in disbelief and said , ‘ that was a first ’, with Heard ’ s lawyer Elaine Bredehoft adding that it was ‘ the most bizarre deposition ’.
Depp was awarded $ 15m damages against ex-wife Heard over a domestic abuse article published in the Washington Post . Meanwhile , Heard won $ 2m damages over comments made about her by a lawyer for Depp in the Daily Mail .
