Vaper Expo UK , NEC Birmingham

May 27-29 , 2022 .

Birmingham reclaimed its place in the world of live vape shows with the return to the NEC of The Vaper Expo UK .
Even after a two-year absence , it was great to see that it retained that familiar look and feel of this classic vape event .
Some things never change and I was glad to see that the Vaper Expo team stuck with their dynamic vaping duo Johnnie Lovell and Ashley Hansen as joint show comperes .
They ruled the main stage , hosting a selection of giveaways from all our favourite brands and introducing a packed program of talks from leading voices within the industry .
Johnnie and Ashley have gained a huge army of fans for their energetic Vaper Expo antics and I am no exception .
One of the weekend ’ s highlights for me was Vaporesso proudly showing off their powerful new logo which features the letter ‘ V ’ at the forefront , encircled behind by the letter ‘ O ’.
The rebrand was a year in the making , with input from many surveys , focus groups and data analysts before the new logo was ready to be made public . And judging from the reaction at Vaper Expo I think they have got it spot on .
As I walked around the stands it was clear that this event reflected the current industry trend … the ever-growing march of the disposables . They were absolutely everywhere .
There were so many dynamic stands , where companies went the extra mile to stand out from the crowd and it was great to see this Vaper Expo tradition continue .
Elf Bar , who sported a branded halo high above their stand , found their products in such demand that they ran out of stock by Saturday afternoon .
I also loved all the mascots walking around the expo to add to the atmosphere , with King Kong Vape Juice ’ s gorilla being a particular favourite of mine .
