TACKLING THE BIG CHALLENGES
The UKVIA hosts its first live event in almost two years to debate some of the highs and lows of the vaping industry .

More than 100 leading players in the UK vaping industry met in London for a special forum to discuss some of the key challenges that need to be tackled . They were joined by influential figures from the fields of politics , science , economics , medicine and academia for the UK Vaping Industry Association ’ s Summer Forum . The event , held at London ’ s imposing Millbank Tower , allowed delegates to appreciate the great advances the sector has made in achieving widespread acceptance as the very best and most effective method to help smokers quit . UKVIA ’ s Director General , John Dunne said : “ After almost two years of lockdowns it was fantastic to finally get together in person and discuss the most pressing issues facing vaping today . “ We were honoured to have some truly esteemed representatives from the scientific , academic political and health sectors who all gave great insights into the latest thinking around vaping ’ s current and potential impact on society .” The World Health Organization ’ s anti-vaping stance was discussed at length .
