VAPORESSO LUXE PM40

The Luxe PM40 is the latest pod system from Vaporesso . At first glance , you can ’ t help but be reminded of the excellent Smok Nord 2 , so how does this measure up ? First of all , the build quality is superb . The blend of plastic panels with a zinc-alloy frame gives the device a lightweight , comfortable feel .
However , what ’ s most impressive is that this is done without sacrificing durability . When I was using the Luxe PM40 I always felt confident that it could survive a few falls . The Luxe PM40 has very simple functions , with the whole system being controlled by the fire button – making it perfect for a novice vaper who doesn ’ t really need much in the way of complexity .
The black and white display screen is 0.69-inches , which is clear and easy to read and it ’ s powered by a built-in 1800 mAh battery – not too bad for a device of this size .
But the fast-charging USB-C port and high-quality charge cable included in the kit were the standout features of the PM40 . I found it took as little as an hour to fully charge the device , which is a far cry from some other products on the market . I have been vaping at around 15-18w and at this level the PM40 would easily last me a full day as my main vape . You can also pass through vape on this whilst charging , so you ’ ll rarely be caught without a battery .
As the name suggests , a maximum output of 40w is plenty powerful enough for this type of pod system , with a minimum of 5w . This power range works perfectly for both MTL and DL vaping and it ’ s all powered by the AXON chipset .
The real kicker for me with the Luxe PM40 is the presence of an external airflow control . The rear of the device has a sliding airflow adjuster . All the way to the left and you can get a relatively tight , yet pretty decent MTL draw and all the way to the right and you

SPECIFICATIONS :

- Cartridge capacity 4ml ( Standard ) / 2ml ( TPD ) - Charging Type-C , 5V / Maximum 2A - Battery capacity 1800mAh - Output wattage 5-40W - Display 0.69 ” OLED Screen - Coil GTX 0.6Ω MESH - COIL ( 20-30W ) - GTX 0.8Ω MESH - COIL ( 12-20W )
can get a nice DL vape . The Luxe PM40 also features ‘ Turbo Boost Tech ’ which maintains a constant output wattage , preventing the draw from getting weak . I found that was consistent until the battery dropped to around 10 to 15 percent .
The GTX coils provided offer great flavour and sufficient vapour production . Supplied in the box are two coils , a GTX-2 0.6Ω mesh coil and a GTX-2 0.8Ω mesh coil , both of which offer great flavour and sufficient vapour production . They also provide you with two cartridges , so you can carry a spare around with you and switch between flavours at will . The cartridge itself has a handy , clear appearance , making it easy to see how much juice you have left , even when it ’ s fitted and in use . Refilling the mouthpiece is hugely convenient , as it simply snaps off the top and has a press-fill hole for liquid and can then snap back on .
Overall , I think Vaporesso have smashed it with the Luxe PM40 . As mentioned at the start , it draws huge similarities to the Smok Nord 2 , which is a fantastic device to be compared to , but with the addition of the adjustable airflow , Vaporesso has taken this device to the next level .
