SMOK – MORPH 2 KIT

As the second edition to the Smok Morph collection , the Morph 2 offers users a sturdy , robust solution to their vaping hardware needs . The device is tactile , built for functionality , but infused with strong visual appeal . It comes in eight different colours , each fitting to a different aesthetic . Our review unit was a very business-like dark blue and black but other options include brown and gold , prism rainbow and a really eye-catching red and white . There is also a black carbon fibre version which is my personal favourite just on looks alone . The device has a zinc alloy exterior and fine leather finish which grants the Morph 2 a much-desired comfortable and ergonomic feel . However , what really sets this device apart from its predecessor is power . It can deliver variable wattage up to 230W and is powered by dual 18650 batteries . The Morph 2 kit is bundled with a TFV-Mini V2 tank , which was previously included in the R-Kiss kit . It has the standard 510 connection and is crafted from premium stainless steel . Additionally , the TFV-Mini V2 has three airflow channels at the base of the tank , allowing users to select the airflow best suited to them . Monitoring your airflow with this device is key , as I found that when set fully open , the large volume of air tends to dilute and compromise the e-liquid flavour . You don ’ t really want to go anywhere past half-way open on this one if you appreciate bursting e-liquid flavours , but for those who like billowing clouds then the loss of flavour may be an acceptable compromise . Users are also provided with a full temperature control mode that ranges between 200 ° F-600 ° F / 100 ° C-315 ° C for a more customisable experience . The Morph 2 is a very thirsty beast indeed and I was a little surprised at how quickly the coils drink juice . My bottle soon became an essential day-to-day item and I found myself almost constantly topping up my supply of e-liquid . This is especially important with the 2ml tank sizes in the UK and the EU , which means you really don ’ t want to leave the house with your e-liquid bottle with you .

One design aspect which really appealed to me was the lockable top-fill tank which requires a button on the side to be pushed before it can be opened . This eliminates the headache of your tank sliding open and filling your pockets with unwanted juice . User interface is a key factor in making the SMOK Morph collection one to watch . The 0.96-inch display – which is powered by the same IQ-S chip as the original Morph - offers users all the information they could need , making it easy for even novices to understand . To switch it on or off simply hit the fire button five times in rapid succession and hold the fire button down to use . I also liked the protection feature , where there is an automatic cut out if the vaping time exceeds eight seconds . Other features include atomizer detection , low-battery warning and even password protection . In terms of battery life , I found that when vaping at 80W , the Morph 2 provided day-long action . And when it came time to replenish the batteries , the charging time is fast thanks to the Type C USB port . Included in the box is the TFV-Mini V2 tank , with a preinstalled S1 0.15Ohm single mesh coil , an A1 0.2Ohm dual coil , Type C USB cable and a user manual . All in all , its a decent offering from SMOK , sturdy , reliable and more power than you ’ ll ever need , but with peace of mind that it will last most vapers a full day of vaping .
