The nicotine/smoking and COVID-19 debate rages on

No one could have imagined that smokers would be at a lower risk of contracting COVID-19.
But as much as some people in the tobacco control field refuse to believe it, mounting
evidence suggests that there may be some truth to this thanks to nicotine. It's understandably
a hugely divisive issue and the debate rages on from both sides.
