Okay, we’re not saying you need to don your smartest suit and
go door-knocking to hand out leaflets but there are easy ways to
affect policy change. Why not write to your local councillor or MP
and see if any pro-vape initiatives are being put in place where
you live? Or set up a petition to get a vaping shelter at your local
hospital? As a vaping advocate, it’s your job to make sure you’re clued up on the
comings and goings of the industry. If a scientifi c study comes out with
yet more positive news for the vaping industry, you’ll want to make sure
you can tell people about it. So, keep your ear to the ground for research
or news stories that support our industry.
7. Keep it adults only 10. Keep up to date with Vapouround Magazine
Though we’re lucky that, here in the UK, we’ve not seen the same spike
in youth uptake as in many states in America, it’s really important that
we keep it this way. Many anti-vape activists argue that vaping appeals
to children, so it’s down to us to ensure that this fear doesn’t become
a reality. As shop owners, don’t become complacent about ID checks. As you’re reading this it is safe to say that you either work in the vape
