expect to fi nd a host of big names from the UK
and abroad in the Media Meet and Greet area
throughout the weekend.
Meanwhile, a trio of UK headliners will play a
pivotal role in the Vaper Expo Awards.
Jay added: “Three of the guys from VapeTube will
be doing blind testing for the juice awards. We’ve
got Vaping with Vic, The Vaping Postman and
Empire Vape Co.
“We try to absorb everything from every aspect of
the community. We always have done. We want
everyone to use the show as a platform for their
channels or websites or blogs or whatever it may be.”
October’s show arrives at a time where vaping is
under attack, with negative stories from the US
threatening the UK’s enviable approach to vape
regulation. Jay hopes to drive home the message
coming from our own government that vaping
is far safer than smoking and has already saved
countless lives.
“Public Health England are trying their best to
put over the message that vaping is at least 95
percent less harmful than cigarettes. But then
you’ve got the likes of the US president saying that
they’re going to be looking into it even though they
have no knowledge of it whatsoever.”
If you follow Vaper Expo on social media, you will
no doubt have caught a glimpse of their big news.
On February 15 and 16, Vaper Expo UK will touch
down at London’s Olympia. It’s been a long time
coming. Vapers, B2B visitors and consumers have
been pushing for a London event since the very
beginning. The team were approached by the
venue and decided that now was the time.
“I know a lot of people in London who attend events
in the city but very rarely venture north.
“We wanted to bring Vaper Expo to London and
already from teaser announcements we’ve done
on social media, the response has been amazing.”
A lot of big exhibitors have already signed up
which Jay hopes will encourage local businesses
to get involved.
“We’ve always attracted a lot of local businesses to
Vaper Expo because we know a lot of the companies.
We expect the same to happen in London.
“The regulations make marketing harder in the UK,
so a show provides a huge platform for companies
to get noticed.”
“We try to absorb
everything from
every aspect of
the community”
