N F E R REVIEWS H STRB BLBR Strawberry, raspberry, rhubarb, ice. Blueberry, peach, ice. Rhubarb is not often a flavour that you come across when it comes to icy juices so I was interested to try it. I am happy to say that after my experience with the STRB juice from Engage Industries, it’s a flavour profi le which should be used a lot more often. It brings a subtle yet satisfying tartness to the inhale that lasts through to the exhale and complements the strawberry well. There is also a good balance of koolada that isn’t overpowering to the fi nal flavour. I did feel that the raspberry got a little lost in the mix but overall this is a really nice and refreshing vape. The scent of peach hits you straight off the bat the moment you open the bottle and is, by far, the most dominant flavour profi le here. It’s the same sensory experience to drinking a cold bottle of a well- known peach iced tea drink on a hot summer’s day. It does, however, have a well-blended yet subtle undertone of blueberry which is more prominent on the exhale. A very enjoyable summer vape. Again, I was very impressed with the levels of ice in this range. You can tell they have put the time into making sure you get the perfect balance with this one. CTRS HDGR Citrus, ice. Honeydew, grape, ice. Another offering from the Engage line comes in the form of what is described as citrus with ice. There is a great swooshing orange flavour that reveals itself as the star of the show on the inhale. You can catch notes of other citrus offerings, but none come through as prominently as the orange. Quite a simple flavour compared to the other more dynamic combinations they have created but one that does not disappoint all the same. In this day and age is it possible to make a grape juice that actually stands out from the plethora of others that are available on the market at the moment? Well the Engage team have thrown their hat into the ring with HDGR and, I must say, this is certainly a contender. The infusion of ripe honeydew melon and a more natural grape flavour than we are used to with a lot of other similar flavours, makes for an extremely pleasant overall flavour experience. PAWA MPLI Pear, apricot, watermelon, ice Mango, lychee, passionfruit, ice. The combination of pear, apricot and watermelon in PAWA really caught my eye and got me excited. It is defi nitely an interesting mix that I haven’t seen attempted before. I found that the pear comes through quite well on the inhale but you only get a very subtle lingering note of apricot and the watermelon gets a little lost. While this is a really creative and appealing flavour profi le, I would have been happier if the flavours came through a little bit stronger. A good effort though but it didn’t quite work well enough for me. MPLI is described as a mango, lychee and passionfruit ice. The top note is a powerful blast of sweet passion fruit that hits like a train on the taste buds and transitions elegantly into an authentic juicy mango on the exhale. This then lingers on the palate with small hints of lychee mixed in. This is, by far, the stand out juice of the set and the most pleasurable vape which left me wanting more. I could easily see this as being a desirable all day vape for any fruit fan. 224 VM25
