N F E R REVIEWS H Lucid Classy VG/PG ratio: 70/30 Additional sweetener: Minimal Throat hit: Mild VG/PG ratio: 70/30 Additional sweetener: Minimal Throat hit: Mild Lucid is a lime tonic, blended with strawberries and Bach flowers. Here Statement Vapors have chosen an unusual mix of flavours and here they’ve certainly created something worth looking at. Strawberry is the top note here but it doesn’t dominate the mix. It has characteristics of authentic fruit and the syrupy sweetness you would expect from a candy. This is contrasted by a subtle authentic lime note, which gives the profi le some citric tang. A noticeable tonic note is next and this is spot on, with moderate bitterness that perfectly emulates its real life counterpart. I’ve not tasted Bach flowers before but whatever role they play in this mix, it’s subtle. There is a slight florality to the profi le but this could easily be coming from the tonic, so I’m not sure if it’s adding much. A mature fruit beverage blend. Classy is the most conventional of the line. This is a lemon tart profi le, so with such stiff competition, is it worth checking out? In a word, yes. The lemon top note here is bright, sticky and has a touch more zest than is usually present in dessert profi les. It’s balanced, though and results in one of the most authentic lemon curd notes I’ve vaped. This is supported by a moderate dairy base, with notes of rich cream and sweet vanilla, sans spice. The profi le is fi nished with a light pastry base, which gives a boost to the blend’s sweetness, along with some added texture. This is one of the most authentic lemon tart profi les I’ve vaped and it’s also less sweet than most other desserts on the market, which will be a bonus for some. A must try for dessert fans. Nude Lavish VG/PG ratio: 70/30 Additional sweetener: Minimal Throat hit: Mild VG/PG ratio: 70/30 Additional sweetener: Minimal Throat hit: Mild Nude is described as a passionfruit, guava and mandarin blend. The dominant flavour here is candy guava. It’s rich, dense and provides a noticeably sticky mouth-feel that allows the mix to linger on the palate after vaping. The deeper notes of guava are contrasted nicely by a natural tangerine flavour. This gives the profi le some brightness and a nice helping of tartness on the fi nish, without detracting from the guava body. There are some hints of passionfruit here, though it’s playing the role of an accent and doesn’t feel like a main feature. This is a nicely balanced tropical blend that’s not overly sweetened. All day vape material for sure. Statement Vapors describe Lavish as a raspberry and apple macaroon. This is a notoriously delicate dessert, so how does it vape? A moderate confectionary raspberry is the top note here. Akin to a raspberry syrup or jam, this brings a slight tartness to the profi le along with some sweetness and mild sticky mouth-feel. This is contrasted with a brighter bakery apple, which sweetens things up a little without stealing the show. This combination of fruits is supported by a subtle meringue base that gives the blend a fluffy body and further bakery connotations. This is a light, sophisticated dessert vape that many will enjoy. Lit VG/PG ratio: 70/30 Additional sweetener: Minimal Throat hit: Mild Statement Vapors describe Lit as a honeydew and cantaloupe chai tea. This is perhaps one of the most unconventional profi les I’ve ever seen, so does it work? The top note here is an even balance of honeydew and cantaloupe melons. The honeydew is bright and sweet but still very much authentic. The cantaloupe is more reserved but does have a pleasant, juicy body. This is supported by what can only be described as a milky sweet tea. At fi rst, this seemed very odd but I found that it grew on me the more that I vaped it. The dairy notes and dark sweetness of the tea blend make for an odd partnership with such bright fruits but the result is a truly one of a kind vape that is well worth checking out for those in search of something out of the ordinary. 218 VM25
