This is a straight up lemonade blend, so how does it fare? The top note here is a bright, sweet lemon. It has some of the bite of home-style lemonade but on the whole gives more of the impression of a commercial, carbonated soft drink. Slight tartness, blended with a bold citric sweetness and an almost effervescent sensation make for a very pleasant beverage-style vape. There also appears to be a subtle coolant in the mix, keeping things light. A simple but competent lemonade. IVG describe Riberry Lemonade as a blend of blackcurrants and wild berries with a lemonade base. On paper, this sounds quite similar to Pink Lemonade but the end product is very different. A strong candy blackcurrant is the star of the show here. It has a luxurious deep sweetness and sticky body that lingers for a while after vaping. It has some traces of earthiness but nothing that feels out of place. The other wild berries here are quite indistinct, due to the potency of the blackcurrant note. The lemonade base cuts through the dense blackcurrant, providing nice contrast and a good helping of tartness. A mild coolant ensures that the blackcurrant does not become overbearing. A classic beverage profi le. Citrus Lemonade Pink Lemonade VG/PG Ratio: 70/30 Additional sweetener: Moderate Throat hit: Mild, with cooling VG/PG Ratio: 70/30 Additional sweetener: Moderate Throat hit: Mild IVG describe Citrus Lemonade as a blend of grapefruit and orange with their lemonade base. Any veteran vaper will tell you that grapefruit is tough to get right, so have IVG done it? The top note here is a bold, authentic grapefruit. It’s bright, sharp and mildly sweet and in my view near spot on to the real thing. Unlike many other grapefruits I’ve vaped, this one does not seem to carry any artifi cial off notes, which is fantastic. The orange is much more subtle, which is understandable and bumps the sweetness up a notch, without detracting from the grapefruit. The lemonade base plays a supporting role, adding further citric sweetness and effervescent connotations. A mild coolant keeps things fresh. A stand out grapefruit blend. Another classic beverage profi le. Pink Lemonade blends have long been popular in vaping, so is IVG’s offering worth considering? The top note in this case is strawberry candy. It has moderate sweetness and a substantial sticky body which does not dominate the profi le, as it easily could have done. There may be hints of other berries in this mix but they are too subtle for me to identify. The top note gives way to the same lemonade base found in Fresh Lemonade, though it seems more reserved here. Regardless, the brighter sweetness of the lemon serves as a nice contrast to the berry note and also provides some tartness on the fi nish. This is a more berry-heavy mix than I was expecting but it’s nicely done. Honeydew Lemonade VG/PG Ratio: 70/30 Additional sweetener: Moderate Throat hit: Mild, with cooling Honeydew and citrus is a combination that we don’t often see in vaping, though it is a very popular beverage profi le in Japan. The top note here is a mild honeydew melon. It’s quite sweet but comes across as authentic rather than candied, with a pleasant juicy mouthfeel and subtle vegetal notes. Honeydew can easily overwhelm mixes and I’m happy to say that this is not the case here. The lemonade base is an ideal contrast to the softer sweetness of the honeydew, bringing plenty of tang and brightness, without drowning out the top note. There appears to be a mild dose of coolant on the fi nish, though this could be the fi zzy connotation of that lemonade base. A simple but very moreish beverage vape. 216 VM25
