N F E R H EVENTS July 16 – Golden Harvest, We headed to the wonderful Steel City on a cold and cloudy July day but we received the warmest of welcomes from Louise Boone and her team at Golden Harvest on Abbeydale Road. We played host to a steady stream of smokers and vapers throughout the day and introduced many smokers to the world of vaping. Former expat Dean, who has recently returned to the UK from Spain, told us how he started smoking while working abroad. He said the Vapouround Bus was the fi nal push he needed to quit and was delighted with his new vape starter kit. Louise from Golden Harvest said it was fantastic to have the bus in Sheffi eld and said the information on board was very helpful for smokers and vapers alike. July 25 – The Vape Box, This was an insanely hot summer’s day with the sun shining for the entire duration of the event. The people of Burton loved the bus and we couldn’t have asked to host a more friendly crowd wanting to learn more about vaping and try the excellent e-liquids on board. We answered people’s queries about vaping, gave away starter kits to smokers and enjoyed the hot weather while doing so. One former smoker proudly told us that he had just started vaping the previous week and was so pleased that he hadn’t been tempted to smoke a single cigarette since. His main reason for visiting was to persuade his wife to quit too so that they could both lead healthier lives and enjoy spending quality time with their grandson. The good news is that his wife left with a starter kit too so good luck to the pair of them in keeping tobacco free. 154 VM25
