Vape Shop Events Madrid was like no other vaping event I had
previously experienced. but this was held at The Westin Palace Hotel which was built by order
of King Alfonso XIII in 1912.
At a regular expo you walk up to exhibitors and see if they have the
time or inclination to talk to you but here you attend a series of more
intimate pre-determined appointments in luxury surroundings.
I was a little apprehensive to say the least because not only was it
my fi rst time at an event like this but I was on my own in Madrid and
outside my comfort zone. It is situated in one of the best locations in Madrid and its lavish
interior is quite literally fi t for royalty. Close to the Prado museum,
historical monuments and some of the best tapas restaurants in
town, this hotel is a very interesting mix of both history and innovation.
When I met the Vape Shop Events team on set-up day my
apprehension disappeared as they made me feel at ease straight
away. Everyone was friendly, full of smiles and could not have
been more helpful as they talked me through the process for the
next two days.
However I was not out of my comfort zone when it came to the choice
of venue. Normally a vape expo will take place at a vast exhibition hall
