We’ve since moved into a TPD compliant range of products and expanded, but the level of quality has always been the main driving force. “It’s been a tough ride for a new brand. Since we set up the market’s very competitive and it’s heavily saturated so we’ve tried to keep our brand very premium and also, because the branding’s unique and the story behind it is unique, that’s allowed us to get our foot in the door properly.” This focus on quality certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed – Firehouse Vape scooped up the award for Best Fruit at this year’s Vapouround Awards, a huge accomplishment for such a young brand. And, in such a short amount of time, the company has already begun distributing throughout France. Mark hopes that the wider European and international markets will be next. Wherever this success may lead them, Mark and Amanda are not likely to forget who – or what –inspired them to take this leap in the first place. They continue to pay thanks to the fire service for being the source of inspiration that got Firehouse Vape off the ground. “We donate a proportion of our profits each year to The Firefighters Charity as a way of giving back.
