The Famovape Magma box mod
is a beautiful and simplistic device.
It has a classy look and feel and a
structure that’s a throwback to the first
ever box mod designs.
The Magma fuses a simple construct with
beautiful resin side panels that provide an elegant
overall appearance. The resin panels have a soft
touch finish and, when paired with the sleek shape,
make the Magma especially ergonomic. The small
size is due to the smart V-Tech chipset that allows the
internal structures to be scaled down while boosting the
performance of the mod.
The device has three function buttons including a large fire button
with a nice press. It takes two 18650 batteries, allowing a massive
200w maximum wattage. The interface is basic and user-friendly. It has
a clean look and the relevant information is always displayed. The more
important information such as the power mode and wattage are displayed
in a larger size. The interface uses a simple multi-press function to enter the
power mode settings.

As the industry moves towards the middle ground on coil ohm resistances, I varied
my usage around the 40-100W ranges. However, with the excitement of this powerful
device and various atomisers at my disposal, I ramped up the wattage to 200W and can
confirm that the device fires smoothly to its maximum limit.
The fire-up is glitch-free with a short delay of roughly 0.4 seconds. The smooth vape experience
is constant and provides reassurance no matter the tank. The simplicity of both the usability
and vape experience make the device incredibly universal and appropriate for any user no matter
the experience.
Overall, the Famovape Magma is a solid vape, built with a traditional structure and enhanced with modern
design and technology. The main beauty of this device is the simplicity that runs throughout all its aspects.
The variety of outer colours and resin designs, mixed with its universal usability, makes the Magma a great
choice for any vaper.
