Vaporesso were the first company
to make a Zippo-style device when
they released the original Aurora in

latest iteration justify the additional cost?

The Aurora Play is a touch larger than the original and
about average size for a miniature AIO. The flip-top design
is protective and genuinely functional while the aesthetic is
understated which is fantastic for vapers who value discretion.
The OMNI Board Mini provides a variety of user protections as well
as limited wattage settings. Five clicks turns the device on or off and
three clicks allow you select your optimum output. With such a tiny, high-
resistance coil, this is enough to notice a substantial difference in vapour

Good performance
The 1.3Ohm replaceable pods are also impressive. The fixed setting is a nice,
middle-of-the-road restricted MTL. At 12.5W, you can expect a warm, flavourful vape,
while the 9W setting provides a more mellow experience suited to high nicotine e-liquids.
Pod longevity is among the best in class. I was easily able to run each pod through 6-8
refills of moderately-sweet e-liquid before needing a replacement, which translates to about
a week of solid vaping per pod.
With 20mg nicotine salts, I found the Aurora Play to last just shy of a full day’s use on one charge.
The 1A quick charging ensures that downtime is minimal. You can expect to go from a flat battery to
a full charge in a very reasonable 45 minutes.
In summary, the Vaporesso Aurora Play is a slick, refined pod system that will suit any MTL vaper looking
for something discrete, well-built and affordable. In the medium-sized pod class, this stands out as a front
runner. It looks like Vaporesso have another hit on their hands.
