“I don’t smoke anything and I don’t vape anything but smoking
is bad and, therefore, my battle is a matter of health”
– Deputy Prime Minister of Italy
defend health, the sector and the economy.”
Just from visiting this show I can see that the industry here
is alive and thriving. Busy doesn’t even begin to describe
this event as eager vape enthusiasts flooded the halls of the
Veronafiere over three days.
I don’t even think that the majority of exhibitors at the show
had anticipated just how busy it would be as many of them
had sold out of stock by day two, some even got through all
of their stock before the end of day one.
This show also revealed that the Italian taste in e-liquids
seems to have stayed firmly in the tobacco camp with most
of the juice companies sporting a whole host of different and
interesting tobacco flavour combinations.
This was the fifth edition of Vapitaly and the exhibitors I spoke
to had very positive things to say about this show and like
the Italian deputy prime minister I also think it will come back
even bigger and better next year.
For me there was only one disappointment and that was an
airline strike on the day I was due to fly home which left me
severely delayed and with a 16-hour trip back to the UK.
