seemed to take us on a mystery tour
of Brooklyn and then blamed her GPS
for the ride taking more than twice as
long as it should have done.
There were around 85 exhibitors
at the show from all over the world
and, between them, they covered all
bases including traditional e-liquids,
hardware, nic salts, pods, CBD
products, wholesalers, distributors
and packaging.
CBD products are very much on trend
at the moment and this sector of the
market was well-represented at the
Brooklyn show.
In all there were about 25 different
countries represented, which also
managed to pack a very extensive
conference program into the two days.
At a lot of vape events, many vendors
are reluctant to leave their stands,
but the conferences are of such high
quality at this event that many
Brooklyn Expo Center is now firmly established as the home
of VapEvent New York and this is one show which never fails
to deliver.
When I attended the first show in 2017, the security staff at
the venue seemed to be a little apprehensive about the whole
idea of vaping in the building and visitors were constantly
being reminded of where they could and could not vape.
Things were a little more relaxed by the 2018 show and now
the Brooklyn venue seems to be a totally natural fit for this
two-day celebration of all things vape.
Last year there was snow on the ground and a bitter chill in
the air, but this show gave us two days of mainly sunny spring
days and not a flake of snow to be seen.
This event is always very well-organised from start to finish.
The website is clear and informative (a lot of other vape shows
seem to find this hard to achieve) the staff at the entrance are
always friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is always
chilled and relaxed.
Basically, it is the perfect environment for a business-only
event and both exhibitors and visitors alike always have good
things to say about this show.
The only drama this time around was our taxi driver who
