maximize time for productivity and we find that this format, this style of event is well-accomplished.” The VSE shows are always kept smallscale, and Mike says that’s all by design. “We only allow 31 exhibitors at any given event and around 20 buyers so it’s very, very exclusive and the manufacturers that come in, they stay with us because they find it to be productive for them.” To be invited to this unique type of trade show buyers are required to fill out a business profile that may be accepted, be scouted out by independent contractors or be one of the lucky few who end up on the buyer sponsorship program. In terms of manufacturers, some are big name brands – and others are new up and comers that may not be on the international radar yet. “Everybody knows some of these brands, so they’re not a secret – they are not hidden, so we do like to bring in some hot new brands that buyers may not be familiar with yet so it can get interesting. “I don’t just give you a booth and say good luck. We do everything in our power to ensure the success of our attendees. I tell our exhibitors that if you utilise the tools that we provide you with, you will be successful with us at every single show – which is a bold statement, but it’s absolutely true.” Vape Shop Events Madrid takes place August 20-22.
