An incredibly realistic banana oatmeal cookie
flavour. I could tell from the first inhale that
this e-liquid was going to be special. Straight
away, I could pick out a smooth, creamy
mashed banana that offered a mild tasting,
yet subtly sweet element to this overall
flavour. As I held the vapour in my lungs
and began to exhale, a wondrously rich and
wholesome chewy oatmeal cookie came
into play.
It had just enough sweetness to be able to
appreciate the cookie and still offered enough
flavouring to balance the creamy
banana elements.
As you end the exhale, and move on towards
the aftertaste, you will notice a soft dusting
of cinnamon encompass your mouth. I
thoroughly enjoyed how accurately this
e-liquid was to a real cookie. Frosted sugar cookie is just that, plain and
simple, yet exceedingly delicious. There
are no unnecessary complications in terms
of flavour, and in this case, less is more.
On the inhale, a buttery crumbling biscuit
flavour rolls in, it has a mildly sweet taste
to it. I felt it tasted quite rich and decadent
in flavour, but without being overly sweet
nor overpowering. As you exhale, a unique
touch of sugary vanilla frosting comes in to
play and brings the cookie flavours together
in a way I can only describe as being
flawless. Due to the relatively uncomplicated
nature of this e-liquid, it becomes a
strong candidate for an all-day vape. The first thing I taste when vaping this e-liquid
is a velvety smooth and refined honey. The
honey itself is not the most powerful flavour
component in this e-liquid but was the first
one I could taste. Then comes a rich and
sweet strawberry sauce that is both lavish and
powerful in flavour. The honey and strawberry
notes are then rounded up with a sweet,
sugary cinnamon cracker. The warmth of the
flavour as a whole made my mouth water,
and I can only commend whoever came up
with such a spot-on flavour. I found that this
e-liquid, as well as the other flavours in this
line, all lived up to their real-life counterparts,
something I rather admired.

The Berry Series was announced by Nasty
Juice as a new line-up inspired by profiles
that are particularly popular in the European
market. Broski Berry is described as a blend
of Scottish berries, so how does it measure
up? This is a bit of a strange one for me.
Whilst there are certainly some nicely
executed berry notes here, with hints of
blackberry, strawberry and raspberry, the
dominant flavour is liquorice. It’s a dark,
sticky sweetness that permeates the whole
blend, and the berries feel more like an
accent than anything. This dominant note
has good body and mouth-feel, but as with
all things liquorice, it’s bound to be divisive.
If you are someone who is fond of a bit of
liquorice, then you should give this one a go. Would an all-berry range be complete without
a blue raspberry offering? We think not.
So how does Nasty’s take on this staple
profile compare to others? Sicko Blue is
an unapologetically punchy blend. The top
note is a bright, sharp, candy raspberry that
brings plenty of sweetness to the mix,
along with a familiar, sticky mouth-feel.
There’s also that intangible ‘blue’ note
here and it’s hard to say whether that’s
coming from a blueberry accent, or some
other candy in the mix. Either way, this
is a solid blue raspberry flavour. There
appears to be a very mild coolant here too,
though there’s no mention of that in the
official flavour description. Star Gazing is the simplest of the Berry Series
and it’s refreshing to see Nasty Juice go
back-to-basics. This one is described only as
a blueberry mix. Whilst simple on paper,
blueberry is notoriously difficult to get right,
since many flavourings of this type are either
very muted or carry heavy off notes. I’m
happy to say that Nasty have done an
excellent job in this case. The top note is
bright and sweet, but still carries some
real weight and hints of the deeper earthy
flavour you would expect from the real
fruit. There also appears to be a candied
harvest berry accent in the background,
which gives the blend more depth, with
hints of raspberry and blackberry. This
is a very well-rounded berry profile that
should be suitable for almost any vaper
who enjoys fruit mixes.
