Derby & Eastwood, March 12
Our next stop was Vape X Nottingham Road
in Eastwood where we met a chap called
Andrew Compton. Andrew, 30, told us he
had smoked for 15 years before starting to
vape just four weeks before our visit. We
hope it’s still going well for him.
Cut N Vape, Derby
Just a stone’s throw from the place we call
home, the Vapouround Bus team stopped
at Cut N Vape in Derby. There we met
Brendan O’Connor who has been vaping
for five years, having smoked for ten before
that. We also met a chap called Luke Hill
at this stop. Like many, Luke relies on his
vape shop for guidance and he says he
visits once a week.
Tontine Square, Stoke-On-Trent March 13
National No Smoking Day
To the Vapouround Bus team, every day
is No Smoking Day. On March 13 as the
national anti-smoking day rolled around,
we headed to Stoke-on-Trent where we met
22-year-old Charlotte Boswell. Charlotte
told us she started smoking when she was 15
but quit four months ago thanks to vaping.
Charlotte also told us she suffers with
Asthma, but thankfully she hasn’t had any
issue since she made the switch. Shout
out to the great bunch of people who joined
in on our No Smoking Day fun in Stoke,
especially David Timms who has been
vaping for two years.
