VAPE SOUTH AMERICA
JANUARY 26-27. ASUNCIÓN, PARAGUAY.

We were excited to return to South America
having been to Colombia and Mexico City
in the last year. Both of those places were
not only fantastic places to visit, but both
produced very successful shows.
A major bonus was leaving the English midlands
in January with cold weather reaching below
freezing point and arriving in such a fantastic
location with 37-degree Celsius heat. Hats off to
the organisers for picking this beautiful country
for a vape expo.
This was another instalment from the Vape
South America team – and this was to be the
first ever vape expo to be held in Paraguay, so
a real gamble for the organisers. Until now, their
shows have been successful and enjoyable, so
it was going to be interesting to see how this
Paraguay event was going to pan out.
One thing that certainly shows is that practice
makes perfect. With the busy schedule of vape
shows that this team put on throughout the year,
it’s fair to say that from an organisational point of view these guys are
getting quite good at it.
On arrival each vendor was checked in with relatively no hassle and
ease. The check-in process was simple, quick and effective. We
were presented with an envelope which already had our badges and
info pack inside, so there were no long queues waiting for badges to
be printed and ID to be checked. Once checked in, we were sent to
our stand where we proceeded to set up. Again, a relatively smooth
process, although we did have a loose panel which threatened to
bring down our whole booth, which would have been dangerous.
Again, credit to the organisers, they were straight on it, sending
over the stand constructors to fix the problem and accommodate our
requests.
Day one of the show was good. There was a steady flow of people.
To be honest, it wasn’t like there was ever a mad rush of people, but
there were enough people to keep us occupied and we did some
good business.
From a vendor point of view, again there was a good mix of new
businesses exhibiting their e-liquids, which is exactly what you
