Red Liquids are reasonably new to the market,
bringing with them a large selection, varying
in flavour. Black and white is described as
a blackcurrant and lemonade flavour and as
many lemonades do, this liquid comes with
a cooling effect to increase the similarities to
the real drink. The blackcurrant flavour within
this juice is more closely related in flavour to
a hard candy sweet, maybe a hard candy
sweet that helps sooth throats. The lemonade
flavour mirrors this candy theme being close
in flavour to a lemon sherbet. Together the two
main flavours work well together and produce
an overall candy flavour complemented by
the added cooling effect. The pink one has been described as a fruit,
tropical and menthol liquid and the tropical
note to this liquid is rather surprising. This liquid
has no obvious single flavour as its profile focal
point, however the mix of the fruits contained
are a delicious concoction. This complex
liquid has a hint of pineapple, blackberry,
raspberry and a hint of strawberry all at
similar strengths. Finally, in a slightly lower
dosage a note of menthol, which isn’t too
over powering. The menthol adds a palate
cleansing effect making this liquid have little
to no after taste. This may a negative for
some, but it does leave you wanting more. Possibly Red Liquid’s signature liquid? The
Red One is very red is colour, and just as bold
in flavour. This liquid has a hint of strawberry
although this isn’t so obvious because of
the powerful aniseed and menthol flavour.
Aniseed and menthol liquids tend to be a
more acquired taste however there is a large
market for these types of flavours. It is clear
Red Liquids are hitting this market with the
profile of this juice. This liquid has minimal
additional sweetener which is always a bonus
for a menthol flavour. This liquid has been
marked down to have a medium throat hit
because of the menthol hit.

It’s reasonably easy to know what flavour
to expect with this liquid, however there is
an unexpected flavour in there. Red Kola
is a simplistic cola flavour which closely
resembles everyone’s favourite childhood
sweet. The classic gummy cola bottle
is something that has been thoroughly
replicated throughout the e-liquid market
however this liquid has a hint of menthol
added. The menthol makes the liquid more
of a cross between the gummy sweet and
a realistic cold drink of cola, it’s this mix that
keeps the profile simple while adding to
the dynamic. This juice contains a minimal
amount of added sweetener keeping the
juice a little cleaner on the coil and less sticky
on palate. The Blue One by Red Liquids is possibly
the most visibly blue liquid I’ve seen. This
liquid has everything you’d expect from
the name, blueberry and menthol. The
menthol in this one is much stronger than
Red Liquids’ other juices however it is
appropriate. Combined with the menthol
is a stronger blueberry flavour, with small
notes of blackcurrant. Mixed together these
flavours create a tasty blend that could
be described as refreshing and slightly
cooling on the tongue. The additional
sweetener in the liquid is reasonably low,
allowing the sweet and cooling flavours to
work together. Red + Black is another minimalistic liquid
from Red Liquids. This bells but no whistles
liquid is sure to please the vaper looking
for consistent flavour without a complex
flavour profile. This liquid quite simply
has two flavourings; blackcurrant and
aniseed. The strongest flavour of which
is the aniseed which combines well with
the blackcurrant. The blackcurrant takes
the sharp edge from the aniseed making
the liquid as a whole much smoother and
more palatable. This liquid has a medium
level of sweeter, something that is more
required with an aniseed flavour to bulk
out the flavour profile.
