REVIEW BY REUBEN HODGKINS CHAMP SAUCE TITLE SHOT VG/PG ratio: 70/30 Additional sweetener: Moderate Throat hit: Mild T.K.O VG/PG ratio: 70/30 Additional sweetener: Moderate Throat hit: Mild IT’S THE CHAMP VG/PG ratio: 70/30 Additional sweetener: High Throat hit: Medium Champ Sauce is an interesting up-and-coming brand with a tempting selection of flavours. Title shot has a sweet candy scent with hints of fruit. The scent may not be completely indicative of the flavours included. The first flavours that become apparent to the tongue when vaped is the blood orange, a flavour that isn’t commonly used in a fruity medley. Once the blood orange has passed a mix of a smooth peach, sharp cranberry and orange hit, a collection of flavours complementing each other creating a broad array of fruity flavour notes. Throughout the vape, an undertone of prosecco is present although it does stay reasonably low in strength and it’s not at all overbearing. Overall, the combination of fruit flavours and prosecco in this liquid leave a good impression, although a little sweet for me. It is clear there is a moderate amount of additional sweetener which gives the liquid a small amount of candy flavour also present. Prosecco fans should try this one. T.K.O aka Technical Knockout. This curiously named liquid is set to impress your taste buds with an interesting array of flavours. The two main flavours here are a sweet vanilla along with a strong passion fruit. In conjunction with the main flavours there is an undertone of prosecco, which when you peak maximum flavour on the tongue is similar to a popular summer cocktail. This liquid is rather sweet in comparison to said cocktail, perhaps appealing to dessert vape fans and their sweet tooth. It’s clear T.K.O has a medium/moderate amount of sweetener, which isn’t a turn off in this case as it adds to last flavour left on the tongue post- vape. Overall, T.K.O is an enjoyable juice for anyone who likes sweets or fruits. ‘It’s The Champ’ is a flavour with a little more depth compared to the other liquids in the Champ Sauce range. This liquid has a darker appearance and a strong coffee scent as soon as it’s opened. When vaped this liquid produces a broad flavour with some serious depth to it. There’s something about a thick strong flavour that really works well for me. Obviously, the most dominant flavour is the coffee but along with the coffee comes a strong brown sugar flavour, something that’s a little unusual in e-liquids. These two flavours combine to create this depth with the coffee hitting a few bold, sharp notes at the same time. In addition to this, there is an extra hint of liqueur or vodka that adds little twang to after taste. Overall this juice is delicious, again it reminds me of a popular cocktail, maybe an espresso martini. The depth in the coffee and brown sugar make it so moreish. This liquid does contain a high amount of sweetener, which isn’t all that surprising and seems to be a trend with coffee flavours.
