Vaptio have a large offering of devices. These vary from 200W, hard-hitting
regulated mods down to a simple pod system. The Cosmo Kit lands somewhere
in the middle, a decent offering to the starter kit market. Alternatively, this
device would fit well in the hands of a keen vaper looking for a nic salt device.
Included in the kit is exactly what you need to get started. The tank, which
matches the colour of the device, two spare coils, a spare seal and a micro-
USB charger cable.
For a starter device it has everything you would expect. The built-in battery is
a very respectable 1500mAh which should suffice as an all-day-vape being
used at regular intervals. The Cosmo also has variable wattages starting from
a 10W output, up to 20W and 30W. The power output of the device is perfect
for low-powered coils however it does work perfectly with the tank that is
included in the kit. Selecting the wattage is easy with a single button moving
the light on the indicator screen from L, M and H respectively. Another indicator
is placed above this section to display battery level making this device wholly
quite simple to use.
Small devices are becoming largely more popular with the development of
pods and this device isn’t far from a similar size and weight. The thin and
light device fits well in the hand and because of its small size, it should be
comfortable to most users. The fire button is large and covers the top front of
the device making it an easy trigger. The buttons on the device have are short
press but nice tactile feel.
Included with the kit is a 1.6ohm coil and a 0.7ohm coil, each of which fire well
on this device. The built-in chipset hit with a medium intensity, something that
works well on starter devices. The tank itself offers great flavour even with
50/50 juices and the longevity of the coil is around one week, from experience
something that is common with coils from other manufacturers. The included
tank has an adjustable airflow with two options: MTL and DTL. With a turn of
the airflow you can get a reasonable restricted mouth-to-lung hit when using
higher nicotine juices which is always a bonus.
