I’ve heard a lot about JUUL and I’m glad I finally get to give one a try. Firstly,
this device has that luxury item feeling. It’s sleek and lightweight with no
buttons. I hate to say it but it’s something I’d expect to receive from Apple.
The mod including the pod totals to only a few grams, which is mind blowing.
This device has clearly had a lot of man hours making it so compact and
discreet.
The device takes closed pods that come in only five flavours at 20mg (see
the flavours below). It gives a satisfying mouth-to-lung experience but I feel
that it was designed for a higher nicotine level, as the device produces quite
a light throat hit for a cig-alike. The JUUL uses a closed loop temperature
control algorithm that always gives an optimum output to the pods, this also
means no more dry hits like other devices.

The battery lasts an impressive amount of time considering its size. It’s stated
that a full battery is capable of around 200 puffs. This is pretty accurate and
the JUUL would usually last the best part of a day; roughly two thirds of a pod
depending on the user.
This well-designed vape has an indicator light on the front face that you can
tap to see the battery level. The kit comes with a USB charging dock that
looks similar to a small USB stick. Here’s the magic, you just pop the JUUL
onto the dock and the magnets hold it in place whilst it charges.
- Choice of e-liquid
I can understand why the JUUL is so popular; it has an impressive cig-alike
experience and is both stylish and innovative. It’s definitely a high-end device
and frankly I am a big fan even though I like more freedom with my e-liquid
choice.
APPLE ORCHARD
This e-liquid has a smooth and fruity
red apple taste. It’s fresh and uplifting.
ROYAL CRÈME
This is a rich e-liquid that has a smooth
chocolate base infused with a sweet
vanilla.
MANGO NECTAR
A light tropical, mango flavour with a
light sweet hint.
