EVENTS Vapour Worx, Ossett – September 21 The Vapour Worx Ossett store has clearly grown a loyal following of customers with their friendly team of staff and great range of products, suited both to newcomers and veteran vapers alike. The bus is of course tailored towards educating those new to the idea of vaping and this was especially useful at this event, where we met a large number of smokers who were keen to try an alternative method of nicotine consumption. Our free starter kit initiative was key to the event, and we exchanged 19 packs of cigarettes from smokers for pod devices in just four hours on this stop. It was fantastic to see so many new converts, who were clearly enjoying the myblu devices, kickstarting their tobacco-free lifestyle. This was a great start to Stoptober. ECO VAPES, Langley Mill – September 28 We met a lady called Stephanie Jones (31) when the bus visited Langley Mill in Derbyshire. At that time, Stephanie told us she had just made the switch to vaping three weeks prior, having visited her local vape shop several times with her partner for advice. Stephanie, who smoked most of her life until recently, said the main benefit of vaping has been the money she has saved. 158 | VM20
