Vaper Expo UK 2018 The Return, Birmingham - October 26-28
The Vapouround Bus is always a striking
fixture at the Vaper Expo UK and October’s
show was no exception.
For this show Red Box also brought their
double decker to the show so both vehicles
were parked up in the main holding area
beside the entrance tunnel to the expo
where they were the first exhibit seen by
throngs of keen vapers on arrival.
We also had a large sponsored area for
CBD Ultra in front of the bus making this
section almost a show within a show.
On the Friday, we welcomed trade visitors
from clients whose brands and products
featured on the bus and from those who
wanted to see how the bus could help
promote their businesses.
Over the next two days we welcomed the
vaping public and, being next to the main
entrance, it was the first point of call for
many visitors.
We had people come to say hello because
they recognised the bus from its tours up
and down the country and those who were
experiencing it for the first time.
One of the great things about taking the bus
to the Vaper Expo was that people could try
a selection of e-liquids on our taste stations
and then visit the companies who were
exhibiting at the show itself.
When we take the bus on the road, a
huge part of its role is to help smokers quit
cigarettes and switch to vaping instead. We
are currently giving smokers free myblu
starter packs and these have proved to be
very popular indeed.
At the Vaper Expo there are not so many
smokers but vapers are great ambassadors
for the ‘quit smoking’ campaign and we gave
away dozens of myblu starter kits to vapers
who wanted to help family members, friends
and work colleagues to give up smoking.
We had people taking selfies on the bus,

vloggers capturing footage both inside
and outside and photographers taking cool
shots of the interior and exterior.
There was also a huge interest in the
USONICIG downstairs display area and it
is clear there are many fans of their coil-
free heating technology here in the UK.
Whether people hopped on board to say
hello, picked up a vaping starter kit for
friends or tried out the hardware or liquids
on board, everyone was welcome and
got a keen sense of what this smoking
cessation service on wheels can offer.
A huge thank you to everyone who has
visited the Vapouround Bus both at the
expo and on the road. We look forward
to welcoming more people on board as
it continues its ongoing tour around the
country in 2019, so watch out for it coming
to a town or city near you.
