REVIEW BY JAMES PARNELL MAG KIT SPECS: WHEN THE MAG MEETS THE PRINCE! Wattage Range: 6W – 225W Temperature Range: 200°F-600°F (100°C - 315°C) Voltage Range: 0.5V - 9V Battery Compatibility: Two 18650 Batteries Resistance Range (TC Mode): 0.05 – 3.0 Ohms Resistance Range (WMode): 0.1 Ohms – 3.0 Ohms Pros : - A strong, eye catching device. Cons : - Not ergonomic - (left hand priority) DESIGN BUILD QUALITY On first look the mag kit is very intriguing. I am reviewing a metallic red device but it also comes in a variety other cool colours. The whole concept of the device is cool with great in-hand comfort due to its curves and trigger-like fire button. The device has a 510 adapter, two function buttons below a large HD screen, a trigger fire button and a mysterious silver button too. Now this is where it gets unbelievably fun because when the silver button is pressed the mod releases a magazine clip like a real gun. The mag clip is a well built plastic battery holder that takes two 18650 batteries. I am really impressed with the coolness of this kit. The screen functionality works on a three press basis which gets you into the menu system, and it is five presses for power lock. In the menu you press once to cycle through to specific settings or press and hold to enter individual settings sub menu. The first menu is a simple build up of output modes universal to both wattage modes and temperature modes with material specifics. Optional are puff settings and other customisable options for the screen. The off function is also found in the on screen menu. Smok have really hit the nail on the head with the screen layout which is clean and simple but which provides all the vital information that any user would need. One problem with the kit is, although it is comfortable in the hand, it isn’t very ergonomic as the screen is on the right face of the device. This means if you are right handed you are going to have the screen in your palm. I feel if the screen was on the roof of the mod like the T-PRIV it would be more efficient. USABLILITY Not only does the power bank look cool, the tank included is the new TFV12 prince tank that is very sought after. See VM14 for the extended review on this tank. INCLUDES PRINCE TANK When both the Prince tank and the Mag mod are paired the outcome is phenomenal. The output of the mod is 225 max wattage, so there is plenty to play with. The coils provided with the Prince tank keep you limited to around 120w. With the T10 coil 100w is enough power for a full flavour, huge cloud experience. It is just a perfect match. Hard mode in the VW settings really gives instant flavour but this comes
