VAPEXPO BY SMILE-EXPO MOSCOW . JUNE 16 - 18 .
They certainly love their vape expos in Russia and this can only be a good thing .

It is just two months since we were last in Russia for VapeShow Moscow and now we are back at the same venue for VapExpo . Both events were organised by Smile-Expo and this three day event showed , once again , that there is a really vibrant vape scene in Russia . The vast majority of the exhibitors were Russian and everyone I spoke to was very friendly . In fact at one stand I was being invited to knock back vodka shots with the company owner within two minutes of talking to him . I don ’ t normally reach for the vodka mid-morning but on this occasion I thought it would be rude not to and I am glad I did . The vodka was really smooth and I enjoyed the experience . The next day it was early afternoon when I next walked past this guy ’ s mech mod stand and he beckoned me over for another couple of vodka shots which were chased down by energy drinks . It makes a change from an afternoon coffee I suppose but I can ’ t imagine this catching on back at the office . There were cloud competitions which went down really well during the expo and attracted a lot of excitement from among the visitors . Giveaways were also highlights of the show for many . Not only were there giveaways from the main stage but a lot of the exhibitors had giveaways at their stands to bring in the crowds . This technique certainly worked and people would flock to the stands where there was a chance of walking with some free juice or other vape-related freebie .
