EDITOR’S JUICE OF THE MONTH
BY PAUL CAPLIN
Pacha Mama (Mango, Pitaya and Pineapple) By Charlie’s Chalk Dust
Well what can I say about this vape?
I am not a reviewer, I am not someone
who has extensive knowledge on
everything vape, but I do get asked to
try many juices all over the world,
and I know what I like.
Honestly speaking, I started off by trying
many different juices, smiling politely and
saying: “Ooh yes that’s really nice.” That
might have worked in the beginning, but
as time has gone on I have been a bit
more critical and honest with everyone,
which I think most people appreciate.
Up until now I have never found a vape
that I thought – wow that’s got to be my
everyday vape. I have a simple taste and
mentality and when I quit smoking over
a year ago now I quit through a basic
cola flavour juice, and never wanted to or
needed to vape anything else.
This rather conservative approach to
vaping was probably more down to the
fact that I was scared to try anything
else for the fear of starting up cigarettes
again. I suppose this was my safe juice
so to speak.
I would often indulge in the fancy
flavours on a night out after a few drinks,
but never as an all day vape. This
remained the case until I came across
Charlie’s new juice Pacha Mama. I was
at a convention in Las Vegas and I ran
into Brandon Stump, owner of Charlie’s
who said to me: “You must try our
new line.”
After trying 20 new lines from various
manufacturers previous to this, it
probably wasn’t the most exciting
proposition I heard all day, although that
being part of my job, I thought I must do
what I have to do.
So he loaded up the Pacha Mama,
mango, pitaya and pineapple flavour,
three flavours that I would never choose
to vape in a million years. Firstly mango
is not something I like anyway, pitaya
is something I have never heard of and
pineapple I generally love, but I’ve tried
so many bad pineapple flavours that I try
and steer clear as much as possible.
I took a blast from the mod, and to my
absolute surprise it was gorgeous. The
blend of the three flavours was perfect,
to create a smooth vape that wasn’t
overpowering. I thought I better have
another hit on this. It was moorish, made
me want to keep going and I honestly
couldn’t put it down.
I did something that I never do, and
asked for a couple of bottles to take
with me, as I knew I had found my new
everyday vape. Very quickly I used up
my two bottles and I was on the phone
once again asking for more.
I know this is not the sort of review that
we usually give describing the elements
of the juice, how it is on the inhale and
exhale and so forth, but for me that’s not
what I wanted to get over to you.
I simply wanted to say that this is an
amazing quality juice, made by a very
reputable California-based company,
and in my mind the flavours and quality
make me want to vape it time and
time again.
This is why I haven chosen Pacha Mama
mango, pitaya and pineapple as my
Juice of the Month and I will continue to
vape it on a daily basis until something
else comes along to replace it
but as it has taken over a year for me to
find this, I can’t imagine its going to be
any time soon.
