FYI
for our health but many smokers ignore the health
dangers because they crave the nicotine hit they get
from cigarettes. It is the deadly chemicals in the smoke
which is the main health danger in cigarettes so by
delivering nicotine without the really harmful
components in cigarette smoke, people can get a
nicotine hit without doing nearly as much damage to
their health. Public Health England reported that vaping
was at least 95 per cent less harmful than smoking
traditional cigarettes.
Toot – Also known as Pull or to draw from your
electronic cigarette. This may not be the most common
term in the world these days. You are hardly likely to
hear too many vapers say: “I am really enjoying this toot
from my e-cigarette. How are you finding your own
tooting experience?”
Topper – A device that goes on top of an electronic
cigarette battery/battery holder.
Topping Off – Adding a few drops of e-liquid into a
cartridge, cartomizer or tank.
Triple-Coil Cartomizer – A type of cartomizer that uses
three coils. They vape strong, slightly more so than
dual-coils, and come in several sizes.
Tube Mod – Any vaping device that comes in a tube shape
and about the size of a small flashlight.
Tootle Puffers - These are average vapers, using
average gear and they are happy with it. They have
been likened as modern day equivalents of 1950s era
pipe smokers. The obvious question to ask though is
whether there really is such a beast as an average
vaper? Perhaps that is something you might want to
argue over amongst yourselves.
U
Unicorn Bottle – E-liquid bottles that hold 15ml or 30ml
with an easy to use tip for dripping. Great for carrying
liquid when traveling or out on the town as an alternative to the shorter, fatter bottles.
Unprotected Battery – Any lithium based battery that has
no protection for the overcharging or other situations that
can cause thermal runaway.
USB Charger – An e-cigarette battery charger that lets you
charge by connecting the battery to your computer’s USB
port. This is a very useful and popular way of charging
e-cigarettes. When it comes to charging not all devises are
the same. While many allow USB charging there are some
devices which have a USB connection for software updates
only an d users must remove the batteries from the device
before charging them. This means that you cannot simply
assume that a device will allow USB charging just because it
is fitted with a USB port.
We will back with more terms in the next edition.
