burnt paper did not seem so great any
more and now I could never go back to
smoking regular cigarettes. Vaping has
ruined smoking for me and I am very
happy to be able to say that.”
Everything that Vapey Jacks does is

environment for their clients.
Mark added: “Our aim is to have a feel of
a community centre where vapers and
non vapers can enjoy a shared space,
relax and have a good time.
“We want the best flavours, the best teas
and coffees, the best beers and wines
and the best service we can produce.
“Life is stressful enough and a space
where people know they come and relax,
even if it just for an hour or so, is very
important indeed and our customers tell
us that this is also what they want so we
are happy to provide this for them.”
Vapey Jacks has noticed that it is picking
up a lot of clients from other coffee
establishments in the city and, because
they also serve high quality premium
beers and wine, it is also a venue that
many people like to visit to kick off a
night on the town.
Blake said: “We don’t do food here, only
snacks, but we really encourage the
lunch-time crowd to come in and eat
their lunch here, we just ask that they
clean up their own mess when they are
finished.”
When Vapouround Magazine visited
Vapey Jacks the place was buzzing.
Derby Vapers were holding one of their
regular meetings there (it was their first
time at the venue and they gave it a
massive thumbs up), assistant manager
Dominic Bishop was busy making fresh
e-juices for customers and everyone
seemed happy and relaxed.
Dominic takes great pride in his work
and said: “It is really amazing here and
we are already getting a lot of repeat
customers which is a really encouraging
sign.
“People can tell that we have a passion
for what we do and that is very important.
If you are passing then come in and say
‘hi’ and you will be assured of a warm
welcome.”
