their liquids their allergies to PG have stopped. Information about: • Propylene Glycol • Vegetable Glycerin Is Vaping cheaper thank smoking cigarettes? Well, this all really depends on how much you vape and how ‘into it’ you get, if you just stick to the vape pens and don’t go through lots of bottles everyday then yes, it will be cheaper, with the initial cost being anywhere from £10 – £30 and the bottles of liquid being around £5. It can be cheaper, but many people do spend lots on their devices and ‘gourmet’ liquids. It really depends on how far you want to take this, is it just to get off the cigarettes then stop vaping, or continue Vaping and lower your Nic level. There is great deal of lingo with Vaping so I have listed the most common ones below, I hope this will help. Terms: • Nic = Nicotine • Clouds = The vapour that is produced from your Vape device. (Cloud Chasing) • Liquid, Juice, eliquid = The liquid that contains flavouring and nicotine • Ohms = This is the resistance of your coil • Coil = The element that heats up the liquid and creates the vapour • Kanthal, NiChrome, Nickel, Titanium wires = These are the metals that you use to create a coil • Wick = The material that soaks up the liquid and is inserted within the coil, this in the low end devices are silica wick, in most devices these are cotton. • TC = Temperature Control, this is still in it’s infancy, but it relates to a device that can limit the temperature of the coil to make sure that you do not get a dry hit. • Dry Hit = This is where there is little to no liquid on your wick and tends to burn the wick creating that dry hit. • VV = Variable Voltage, this is where you can set the volts going to your coil, more volts means more heat and vapour • VW = Variable Wattage, again you can adjust the watts going to your coil to create more/ less heat and vapour • SubOhm = This is for experienced Vapers only, it means that you are Vaping under 1 Ohm and this is where experience of battery safety is required, it is very dangerous to Vape at very low ohms without the right batteries and knowledge of what your batteries are capable of. Batteries can vent and explode if they are pushed and stressed beyond their capabilities. EXTREME CARE IS NEEDED. • 18650, 26650, 18350, 18500 = These are the different size of batteries the right ones are needed for your device. Again care is needed here when you are dealing with batteries, only purchase genuine high amp and high drain batteries for your devices. • Box Mod = These are as the name states, Vaping devices in the shape/style of a box, these can be regulated or unregulated • Mech Mods = (Mechanical Mods) these are unregulated devices that allow the battery to push all it’s power to the coil, again care is needed here, experience of battery safety is required. • Regulated and unregulated = Regulated devices are safer, they as the names suggests regulate the power to the coil, safety features can include, low power shut off, low resistance warning, reverse battery warning, Unregulated does not have any safety built in and requires experience to use them. • Steeping = This is when you leave your liquid to mature over a period of time, best when it is in a cool dark place and it allows the flavours to mix and especially needed when it is custard or cream flavourings.
