At Ultra Vapour the management and staff are
all passionate about vaping and in helping their
customers get exactly what is right for them. In fact
most of their staff are former customers who were
so enthsiastic and knowledgable about the vaping
industry that they were given jobs. Managing director
Jonathan Tycer set up in business in 2012 and in
less than a year he had built up a huge reputation
for himself and had already gained a loyal customer
base. By September 2013 Ultra Vapour opened its
first shop in Halesowen, West Midlands, and things
went so well that a second shop at Stone Cross,
West Bromwich, opened a year later.
The company has also got a large presence online
and is on course to open another two stores this
year. Jonathan said: “We got into the industry right
at the beginning and having a dedicated shop early
on really helped us build our reputation and grow our
customer base.
“The fact that we are all passionate about vaping and
really want to help our customers is also what people
like about us.
“We don’t just want to sell people a product and then
get them out of the door. Our shops are more like
social clubs where people can chat with us, get the
help and advice they need and just relax.
“The fact that we have recruited a lot of staff from
our existing customer base is great because we
get really knowledgable and helpful people who
love the industry and are really happy to share their
knowledge with others.” Jonathan said vaping was
a great way for people to quit smoking traditional
cigarettes, pipes and tobacco.
He himself is a former smoker who has not looked
back since discovering vaping and soon started
spreading the word to all the other smokers he knew.
The hugely positive response was what made him
decide that it was the right business for him.
